Set personalised exercise plans that work around YOU

Personal Trainer – Personalised Training Plans

We all lead busy lives now and fitting in exercise is not always easy. Even if you do have plenty of time to exercise, it is vital to make the most of that time so you can optimise your gains.

For many, this has meant training as hard as possible in a limited time. HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) has become very popular recently because fitness influencers have told people that they can improve in a shorter time. The truth is that many people using this method have found themselves injured or ill.

Fitness levels develop much better long-term, when a foundation is laid. This allows an increasingly better blood supply to the muscles, so they are able to recover from exercise more quickly. Intense exercise without the foundation leads to pressure on the muscle, leading to strains and tears. More importantly, many have forgotten that the heart is actually a muscle and over-training it without a foundation can be dangerous.

The other major issue is that social media is now filled with ‘fitness influencers’ who have no or little training. This leads to incorrect technique being taught for individual exercises. Not only does this increase the risk of injury, but it means you’re unlikely to train the correct muscle group.

Our team of experts have worked in high level fitness and sports for 30 years, which means you can be confident that you will get the correct advice from our app. We have also spent 7 years developing the technology to make sure you get the exercise programme that’s perfect for you.

Many people now think with the development of AI, that there is no need for human input anymore. This may be true in 50 years – but AI presently takes the best information that already exists on then internet and tries to pick the most relevant to present to you. The information it picks is not always the best and the AI presently doesn’t always put it all together correctly.

With over 5000 exercises in our database and years of putting them into a technology that will give you the best programme to meet your individual needs – we are confident you won’t get a better exercise programme anywhere else.

‘Personal Trainer’ develops the perfect training plan for YOU. It works around YOUR timescale, YOUR needs and your wishes.

Once you have put in some data, ‘Personal Trainer’ will provide you with workouts that consider the following:

‘Personal Trainer’ will then provide the perfect training programme for you created around the days and times you want to train. If you’re pregnant or a new mum, it will even provide a workout tailored to your needs with safe and effective exercises.

How Will I Measure My Progress ?

You can click on your activity tracker at any time to see your progress. It will show you your ‘workout’ for any given week and how many exercises were set for each workout. It will also show how many exercises you completed for each workout – but even better, if you lick on any of the bars in the bar chart, it will show your exact workout for that day.

Progression Photos

You can take photos of body areas, select them from your gallery and upload them to the app. This is another way of tracking your progress. You can also share your progression photos with friends.

Do I have to Join a Gym ?

No – the beauty of our app is that you can use it anywhere. You have the ability to choose the equipment you would like to use, but you can also choose to train on certain days without equipment.

In the future, you will be able to set your training programme on gym equipment, but for now your can choose from equipment such as dumbbells, kettlebells, elastics, swissball and medball.

4)Progression or Maintenance

Although we don’t all want to be professional athletes, it’s important to see improvement when we’re giving time to our health, or to maintain our health as we get older.

If you want to simply maintain your fitness level, then you can follow your workout programme each day. However, Sport and Health offers you the option of constant progression. We have spent 7 years designing our exercise databases so that you can continually progress in your chosen areas. You can either do this by changing the ‘weighting’ in your ‘Fitness Component’ selection or you can continually upgrade the individual exercises you are doing.

Progression can be important in a fitness programme as participants can get bored from constant repetition. Setting goals can also be an important part of many people’s fitness journey as it gives them something fun to aim for. It’s also nice to know that meeting your goals can improve your health and fitness at the same time. You could even aim to go from a complete Beginner to an Athlete over time using our progression software.

5)Corporate Inclusion

We work with all kinds of bodies to provide targeted health and fitness programmes. We can adapt the software to meet the needs of your institution and even provide specialised feedback data and reports to help you track the progress of your employees or members.
